In my training sessions, I strive to build the dog's confidence level (and yours) with positive reinforcement training. Your dog will learn how to make good choices through rewards. I will give you the tools you need to reward good choices and ignore/redirect the less desirable choices. Typically, dogs are very food motivated making our reward choice easy. However, I do understand that every dog is different and might prefer praise or toys instead. There are foundation cues that will be taught so we may build on them in the future. We will also explore cooperative care behaviors that will help you to provide care at home and make trips to the vet/groomer more confident!
